Tommy has started steering. His tricycle I mean. It makes for much more comfortable walks, with me pushing him on it, as I no longer have to battle against the forces of erratic front wheel force fields. Now he’s definitely in control and takes us weaving along the country lanes to and from his various points of interest (tractors, pregnant horse, skippity newborn lambs, ex-pigs*). I realised, as we were trundling back uphill, that when you’re being steered, it makes life much easier. I could handle someone coming along right now and steering me in the right direction. Although Tommy seems to be doing quite a good job already.
(NB: *ex-pigs because they are now sausages. We don’t actually go and see the sausages but we go to the old pig-pen and call them just in case.)
